Sky Sports with Virgin Media

You can register and stream programmes on up to two devices per household at any one time.

Every time you use a different device, it will automatically register until you reach your maximum device limit. If you’ve reached your limit and would like to register a new device, you’ll need to remove one of your currently registered devices first. You’ll be able to replace a registered device once per calendar month.

From 1 January 2021, you won’t be entitled to access streamed content outside the UK through Sky Go, Sky Sports and Sky Kids, but some of our apps will let you download and save shows over WiFi before you leave home so you can watch them offline when abroad.

This is because there are certain EU rules which mean people in the EU can use online content services across all EU countries. From 1 January 2021, the UK won’t be part of the EU, so we won’t be able to provide this service in the same way.

This affects lots of online video, music and entertainment services, not just Sky.

Some programmes may require you to enter a PIN before you can watch them. You’ll need to enter your 4 digit Sky PIN, which could be different to your Set Top Box PIN.

If you’re trying to watch a programme through your web browser on a computer but it’s not playing as expected, you should first check which browser you’re using. A list of compatible web browsers can be found in the Registering your devices section (above). If you’re using a different browser, close it down and open one of the listed compatible browsers, then try signing in again and viewing a programme.

If you’re still experiencing problems, restarting your computer will often resolve the problem.

If you cannot play a programme on your mobile device, there may not be enough space left on your device to successfully play the programme. If this is the case, try deleting some content stored on your device before retrying to stream the programme you want to watch.

All programmes streamed over a WiFi connection will contribute towards any usage caps or data charges imposed by the broadband provider. Likewise, any programmes streamed over 3G or 4G mobile networks will contribute towards your data usage, and in some cases could result in considerable data charges from your mobile provider.
